A Bit About Me

My pronouns are she/her. I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and currently live in a suburb of Toronto with my common law partner. We share our home with two cats who have a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia - wobbly cats! I'm a vegetarian with a sweet tooth, and I love spending time outside, taking photos, looking at birds, and taking part in citizen science. I also love books, movies, theatre, and TV, as the sidebar demonstrates.

Interests / Issues

There are a lot of things I'm interested in and a lot of issues I care about, many of which show up in my writing. This includes issues that fall under what I think of as my ABCs - Animals, Biodiversity, Climate - plus areas such as youth literacy, digital and media literacy, democratic reform, and more.
